Jordan Haller is bringing a fresh twist to the pop singer-songwriter world. Writing music from his home in the small town of Burlington, Ontario, Haller looks to the world around him for inspiration. He injects his soulful voice into expertly-crafted pop songs with an acoustic alt-rock core, resulting in a sound reminiscent of the great pop singer-songwriters of his generation, such as John Mayer, Damien Rice, Gavin DeGraw, and Ray Lamontagne
With his debut EP, Drifting, Haller has crafted a diverse mix of six original songs that reach into varied musical territories, from folk, to rock, and even a touch of jazz, without ever straying too far from the catchy pop sound that keeps his fans coming back for more after every show. Drifting was nominated for a Hamilton Music Award in 2015 for Pop Recording of the Year, and has received airplay on McMaster campus radio station 93.3 CFMU, and on CBC Radio 2. Production of Drifting was funded in part by FACTOR, the Government of Canada and Canada’s private radio broadcasters.
